As the Packers played the Bears on Thursday Night Football Sept. 28th, CBS Sports Analyst, Jay Feely, interviews Justin about his roots in Tampa Florida where Justin played for head coach, the Legendary Dominic Ciao, who also was Jay’s head coach when he played for Jesuit High School back in the early 1990’s
Justin who just completed his college career playing for the University of Miami was trained by Coach Tom Feely, throughout his high school and college career. Justin appeared in 39 games over three seasons at Miami, totaling 183 punts for 7,876 yards (43.0 avg.)…Handled kickoff duties during one of his seasons, totaling 15 touchbacks on 53 kickoffs…Appeared in 13 games as a senior in 2016 and posted 2,803 yards on 64 punts for a career-high 43.8-yard gross average, which was good for No. 2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference…Had 25 punts inside the 20, a long punt of 63 yards and booted 16 punts for 50-plus yards…Was named second-team All-ACC by the conference’s coaches and the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association
Like Jay Feely, Justin was signed as an undrafted free agent. Jay played for 14 seasons in the NFL as a kicker ending his career ranked 23rd on the all time career scoring list for all players in the NFL.
